WELCOME TO

CenBRAIN Neurotech, Center of Excellence in Biomedical Research on Advanced Integrated-on-chips Neurotechnologies, founded by Mohamad Sawan, Chair Professor, on January 2019 to lead research activities intended to design and implement smart medical devices such as sensors and actuators focusing on understanding and introducing solutions to neurodegenerative diseases. CenBRAIN Neurotech is closely linked to the Polystim Neurotech Lab of Polytechnique Montreal launched several years earlier by Prof. Sawan.

We are part of Westlake University, which is the first private non-profit research-oriented university in the People's Republic of China. It is both supported by public and private funding and a vanguard in the reform of the higher education system in China. Westlake University is striving to cultivate top talent, to make breakthroughs in basic research and innovation in cutting-edge technologies, and to foster human development through science and technology.
